After an amazing performance in .,.Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Maara and rave reviews for his title role in Khosla Ka Ghosla, Anupam Kher has another feather added to his cap.

In the South Asian International Film Festival to be held this month, the opening and the closing film will be starring the versatile actor. The opening film will be Tanuja Chandra's film Hope and a little Sugar while the closing film will be Shirish Kunder's Jaaneman.

When we spoke to Anupam he was quite ecstatic. "It is an honour for me that two of my films will be screened at distinct positions of this festival. In both the films I play diversified roles. In Hope and... I play a Sardar in New York affected by the 9/11 tragedy. In the other I'm a dwarf and it was a very difficult experience for me being on my knees for almost 40 days."

Here's wishing him all the best for his films and future endeavors.

The festival will be held in New York from October 4 to October 8.
