Ravi Chopra's Babul is stranded because there are certain crucial climax scenes which need to be shot at the Mumbai International Airport. Due to the high alert at the international airports due to terror threats, there has been high security at every major airport in the world. Hence, Ravi Chopra is waiting for the green signal from the authorities. Initially, Babul's last schedule was to get completed by mid-August, but now, it is still on the hold.

Babul is again a family drama. However, the film deals with the issue of young widow and whether she could move on in life. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Salman Khan, Rani Mukerjee and John Abraham in lead roles. Though earlier it was scheduled to release in Diwali, the film is now slated to release on December 8.
