Dev Anand to put Jessica Lal story on screen

Even after being in the industry for decades, Dev Anand's zest for film making hasn't diminished one bit. The actor cum filmmaker is planning a film on the Jessica Lal murder case. Titled Chargesheet, the script is ready. It will be shot in Mahableshwar. According to the filmmaker, his attempt is to deal with general societal issues. His idea is not just to get publicity, by making a film on a sensational case.

Currently, the filmmaker is busy with an international film, When Heartbeats Are The Same. It is scheduled to be shot in Croatia and will have Indian as well as Croatian actors. Chargesheet will begin as soon as Anand completes When Heartbeats Are The Same.
