Kohima to host Intnl Film festival

organise
the
first
Kohima
International
Film
Festival
for
documentary,
short
and
animation
films
here
from
December
2
to
6.
The festival would showcase the fascinating world of documentary cinema that reflects the real life of the people and actual events, official sources said.
Award winning films of Mumbai International Film Festival since 2002 including Vietnam Symphony, Zero Degree of Separation, Images of a Dictatorship and Truth Commission would be screened in the festival.
There will also be a package of the Film Division's classics on Nagaland and North East, sources informed.
The state's Information and Public Relation, Tourism, Art and Culture department, Kohima Doordarshan Kendra and all Media Units would be a part of the Film festival The festival would coincide with the 'Hornbill Festival', which would showcase the state's cultural, economic and social life.
