Yesterday, we told you that Kuala Lumpur is getting ready to welcome Bollywood dignitaries for G.I.F.A. Awards, scheduled to take place from 7th to 9th December in Kuala Lumpur. Now here's more on the mega event:
Day 1: Thursday, 7th December -
The event takes off with a press meet of Baabul. The principal cast of the film as well as the makers will be present on the occasion. Post-Baabul press meet, the Chairman of One Big Option, the organizers of G.I.F.A. Awards, will welcome the media persons from across the globe. Incidentally, only a handful of mediapersons from India have been invited for this mega event. A showreel of G.I.F.A. Awards will be screened on the occasion. The focus will shift to TGV at KLCC Towers, where the premiere show of Baabul will take place in the evening. A red carpet welcome will be accorded to the dignitaries.
Day 2: Friday, 8th December -
The day will begin with Sanjay Gupta of White Feather Films showcasing his forthcoming films to the elite gathering. A Q&A session will follow later. Post lunch, a soccer match has been scheduled at the National Stadium. Towards the evening, two fashions shows have been planned - the Malaysian fashion show and a Provogue fashion show - at the Palace of Golden Horses. An auction is also on the cards!
Day 3, Saturday, 9th December -
D'Damas, K Sera Sera and Provogue are expected to interact with the media. Later, a luncheon has been fixed at the Dy. Prime Minister's house, where underprivileged children will be presented with gifts. Later in the evening, all roads will lead to the Putra Stadium, where the grand G.I.F.A. Awards will take place.
The crème de la crème of the film industry will start descending in Kuala Lumpur from 7th December morning.
