2 million mirrors for Jodha Akbar

Ashutosh Gowarikar has always dared to be different and his next film Jodha Akbar too promises to be different. Art director Nitin Desai is currently building a replica of Sheesh Mahal and according to him 2 million mirrors will be used to construct the set of this magnum opus.

The set is currently being constructed in his own studio called Nitin Desai Studio. Apart from this he has also constructed the Amar Singh Darwaza, Diwan-E-Aam, Diwan-E-Khaas and the residential palace for Akbar and Jodha for the film. There is also a 1200 feet long and 50 feet tall fort in his studio.

Jodha Akbar stars Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan in the title roles.
