put
his
Gandhigiri
into
action
in
real
life.
While
traveling
from
Pune
to
Mumbai
on
Monday,
11th
September,
he
was
suddenly
taken
aback
when
he
saw
a
pirated
version
of
Lage
Raho
Munnabhai
being
screened
in
the
bus.
Prabhavalkar
got
into
action
immediately.
He
called
director
Rajkumar
Hirani
from
the
bus,
giving
him
the
description
of
the
bus
as
well
as
the
license
plate
number
of
the
bus.
Hirani,
in
turn,
relayed
the
information
to
Ravi
Reddy,
a
representative
of
the
United
Copyright
Protection
Association
[Anti-Piracy
Cell].
Before
the
bus
could
reach
its
final
destination,
in
a
dramatic
turn
of
events,
Reddy
along
with
the
police
squad
from
Matunga
police
station
intercepted
and
raided
the
bus
at
King's
Circle,
Mumbai.
Prabhavalkar,
who
was
still
in
the
bus,
aided
the
police
and
U.C.P.A.
squads
in
seizing
the
pirated
copies
of
the
film.
The
accused
have
been
rounded
up
for
questioning
and
necessary
action
will
be
taken
against
the
culprits.
