With Hindi film business looking skywards, a hitherto untapped territory is slowly opening up for Hindi film producers. Till some time back, most producers used to pay fancy prices to acquire remake rights of South blockbusters. But the scenario is different today...
After a series of Hindi films clicked at the box-office, producers from South are knocking on the doors to acquire the remake rights of prominent Hindi films in South languages. The most-in-demand film happens to be the recent Lage Raho Munnabhai. That's not all, a prominent production house is also in the process of selling the remake rights for a fat sum.
