Is
Madhuri
Dixit
staging
a
comeback
to
movies?
Has
Yash
Chopra
offered
her
a
film?
Is
Bobby
Bedi
contemplating
signing
the
actress
to
enact
the
role
of
Rani
Laxmibai
of
Jhansi?
All
sorts
of
stories
are
floating
in
the
industry.
So
what's
the
truth?
Every
few
months
one
keeps
hearing
that
Madhuri,
who
is
settled
in
the
U.S.
after
her
marriage,
is
contemplating
returning
to
movies.
Sometime
back,
Somnath
Sen
[LEELA]
had
teamed
Amitabh
Bachchan
and
Madhuri
in
his
new
project,
but
the
film
couldn't
materialize
since
the
actress
was
pregnant
with
her
second
child.
In
the
recent
past,
there
were
murmurs
that
at
least
two
prominent
producers,
Yash
Chopra
and
Bobby
Bedi,
had
approached
the
actress
with
film
projects.
"True,
both
Yash-ji
and
Bobby
have
offered
her
films," Madhuri's
business
manager
Rikku
confirms
the
development,
"But
the
truth
is
that
she
hasn't
officially
signed
any
of
the
projects.
There
have
been
discussions...
In
fact,
Yash-ji
had
offered
her
two
projects,
but
it
all
depends
on
whether
she
feels
excited
about
those
roles."
Rikku
continues
with
the
topic,
"Right
now,
Madhuri
is
busy
with
her
family.
Looking
after
her
husband,
home
and
raising
two
kids
is
a
full-time
responsibility.
But,
at
the
same
time,
she
hasn't
closed
the
doors
on
movies.
Sure,
she's
taking
time,
but
the
wait
will
be
worth
it."
