A producer from Pakistan, Zahid Basir is planning to make a film based on the life of Pakistani Prez General Pervez Musharraf says Basir, it has been his dream to make a film based on the life of the General. Interestingly, Basir is in talks with the Indian filmmaker Ujjwal Chatterjee to direct the film. Ujjwal did meet Basir in Delhi and says that he feels honoured that he has been given such a rare opportunity to direct the film.

Explaining the reason for selecting an Indian director for his film, Basir says that having an Indian director for the film will make it easier to release the film in India. Besides, there are some portions of the film that will be shot in India. It will also cover issues like Kargil War but then such sensitive issues would not be sensationalized says Basir.
