A
criminal
complaint
was
filed
against
film
maker
Rajkumar
Santoshi,
by
the
Brihanmumbai
Municipal
Corporation
recently.
It
is
alleged
that
Santoshi
was
using
his
residential
bungalow
in
Versova
as
his
office,
as
well.
Earlier,
the
BMC
had
cleared
the
use
of
the
bungalow
as
the
office.
However,
residents
of
the
area
filed
a
case
against
him
since
he
had
constructed
an
illegal
structure
in
the
property.
The
High
court
has
directed
the
BMC
to
re-examine
the
case.
Following
the
directive,
the
BMC
registered
a
case
under
the
Maharashtra
Regional
Town
Planning
Act.
However,
as
of
now,
the
film
maker
has
been
granted
anticipatory
bail.
