After wrapping up Subhash Ghai's Apna Sapna Money Money, director Sangeeth Sivan isn't starting work on the sequel of Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, as was speculated sometime back. But the latest development is that Sivan will direct Bobby Deol in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Athadu [which starred Mahesh Babu in the principal role].

"Yes, that's my next film," Sivan informs. However, the remaining aspects [balance cast, technical crew] are under finalization. "The casting should be finalized in a fortnight from now. We hope to roll in mid-October," he states.

Athadu, released in 2005, tells the story of an orphan Nandu, a professional killer. In one such operation, while fleeing from the scene of crime, he unintentionally becomes the cause for the death of a stranger, Pardhoo, who wants to return home after twelve years. Nandu assumes the identity of Pardhoo and enters his household in a remote village to escape from the cops.
