Here's
the
mother
of
all
scoops...
and,
as
always,
you
read
it
first
on
IndiaFM.
Ramgopal
Varma
started
the
trend
of
narrating
six
different
stories
in
one
film
[Darna
Mana
Hai].
He
followed
it
up
with
six
stories,
directed
by
six
different
directors
[Darna
Zaroori
Hai].
Now
Sanjay
Gupta
has
decided
to
encompass
ten
different
stories
in
one
film
and
call
it
Dus
Kahaniyaan.
Also,
ten
different
directors
will
direct
these
[ten]
stories.
The
star
cast
for
the
ten
stories
in
Dus
Kahaniyaan
includes
Sanjay
Dutt,
Nana
Patekar,
Arjun
Rampal,
Aftab
Shivdasani,
Tusshar,
Vivek
Oberoi,
Arbaaz
Khan
and
Rohit
Roy.
The
female
brigade
comprises
of
Bipasha
Basu,
Tanushree
Dutta,
Mandira
Bedi
and
Neha
Dhupia.
While
Gupta
will
direct
a
couple
of
stories
himself,
the
balance
stories
will
be
directed
by
Vishal
Bharadwaj,
Apoorva
Lakhia,
Hansal
Mehta,
Sudhir
Mishra
and
Jasmeet
Dodhi.
The
writing
part
will
also
be
handled
by
various
writers,
including
Gulzar,
Javed
Akhtar,
Kamlesh
Pandey,
Vishal
Bharadwaj,
Farhan
and
Shibani
Tibrewala.
Each
of
the
stories
will
be
of
10-12
minutes'
duration,
which
means
the
length
of
the
film
will
be
approx.
100
minutes
[almost
two
hours].
Unlike
the
Darna
series,
which
tackled
the
horror
genre,
each
of
the
kahani
in
Dus
Kahaniyaan
will
belong
to
a
different
genre.
From
romance
to
horror
to
musical
to
suspense,
each
story
will
be
independent,
not
connected
with
another
story
in
the
film.
However,
there
will
be
a
twist
in
the
end
of
each
story.
Besides,
each
kahani
in
Dus
Kahaniyaan
will
be
filmed
at
a
different
locale.
Right
from
Mumbai,
New
Delhi,
Goa
and
Ooty
in
India,
a
few
stories
are
also
set
in
London
[two
stories]
and
Bangkok.
Shooting
of
the
first
story
begins
from
May
9.
