The March of Sport Movies and TV India

The Sport Movies&TV - Mumbai International Ficts Festival is going to be a very important part of the Jan calendar. While Ritesh Sinha and his team are working hard to get a flawless show on the road, another team is silently at work. Lead by award winning short filmmaker Dhruvesh Jhaveri, a very special DVD is being created on the Making of the Festival, titled The March of Sport movies and TV India.

This film captures the festival from its inception and follows the run through till the Award&Closing Night. It brings together for the viewers the agony and ecstasy of a job well done. The long hours, the sifting of the entries, the registration process- all of these will be well documented bringing to life Ten Films labour of love. A special section is being dedicated on participating filmmakers who are coming down from across the world to attend the festival.

The Mumbai International Challenge has been introduced, in recognition of India's growing contribution to International Cinema and Sports. The festival creates a wonderful opportunity for filmmakers from across the world to come and interact with the Indian film fraternity.
