Vivaah to be released during Diwali

The latest movie that is being planned for a Diwali 2006 release is Sooraj Barjatya's Vivaah, starring Shahid Kapur, Amrita Rao, Sameer Soni, Anupam Kher, Alok Nath and Seema Biswas. A long schedule of the movie is already over in Bombay's Film City and plans are underway for a 20-day shooting in Nainital and Almora districts of Uttaranchal.

While on the movie, Shahid Kapoor plays "Prem" the smart and trendy city boy from Delhi and Amrita Rao plays the traditional "Poonam" from Mathura (Madhupura).
