Ravi Chopra to distribute <i>Water</i> in India

After getting a positive response in overseas market, Deepa Mehta's much talked about film Water is set to release in India. The film cleared the censor board with a 'U' certificate and will have a post Diwali release. Interestingly, Water will be released in India by Ravi Chopra. John Abraham who is currently, working on Ravi Chopra's Baabul also stars in Water. He therefore, urged Mr. Chopra to watch the film. Apparently, Ravi Chopra liked the film so much that he decided to market it in India.

Water is not a typical Bollywood entertainer and therefore needs to be marketed accordingly. However, looking at the Chopra's who have a reputation of making socially conscious cinema in the past, it can be considered that they will market Water appropriately in India.
