Aftab Shivdasani steps into production

It's finally confirmed! Since quite some time back, there were whispers that Aftab Shivdasani was planning to turn producer, like most of his contemporaries. Of course, Aftab was reluctant to divulge details till everything was in place. Well, here's the official statement...

Aftab will make his debut as producer with a love story. "There're two principal characters here. Just the two lovers. It will appeal to people from 6 to 80, since the film will have a lot of energy to appeal to people of all age groups," states Aftab. The director hasn't been finalized yet. "I haven't reached there yet. I am writing the script currently with another writer. The casting as well as the director will happen once we're through with the script," he clarifies. The film is expected to roll early next year.
