Will Akshay-Priyadarshan combo succeed again?

The year 2000 saw director Priyadarshan teaming up for the first time with actor Akshay Kumar, in Hera Pheri and it resulted in their first commercial success.

In between, Priyan teamed up with a few other stars and managed to get some moderate earners. But it was not until 2005 and Garam Masala that the team was seen again, and it turned out to be Priyadarshan's biggest Hindi hit, netting 27 crores. Just a year later, the Priyan-Akki team was back with an even bigger hit, Bhagam Bhag. The film rocked the box-office, netting 42 crores.

However, as they say in typical Bollywood lingo, 'Khel abhi khatam nahi hua' (the game has not ended!), and October 12 will see the same team in their fourth venture, Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The promos of the movie are already creating quite an impact. And with the audio album gate crashing into the top 5, within no time, it wouldn't be a surprise, if it is 'four-out-of-four' for the director-actor team!
