Indrajit Dasgupta, a senior official of the Revenue Services and Additional Commissioner of Service Tax has decided to take the plunge into his vocation of singing and come out with an album produced by T-Series titled 'Mere Mann Main Dhadkan Main'.

This is the first time that Ravindranath Tagore's poems have ever been translated into Hindi. The crowning glory is that Amitabh Bachchan has given the narration for this song which is an ode to lovers penned by Ravindranath Tagore. Reviving the old culture, the artist has done full justice to these compositions by giving it the form of this song.

This album simply conveys the love between two people in the majestic settings of a palace. It features Ashmit Patel who looks regal and commanding while trying to woo an enticing and talented Bengali beauty Rituparna Sen.
