We
all
know
Aryan
Vaid.
The
actor
who
will
be
seen
in
Anil
Sharma's
Apne
as
the
bad
guy
is
quite
excited
about
the
film.
"Apne
obviously
belongs
to
the
three
Deols.
The
film
has
boxing
as
a
backdrop
and
my
character's
name
is
Gaurav",
says
he.
Rubbing shoulders with the Deol khandaan and boxing against them must have been some hard work. "We took training from a person called Tapan Das. He is a gold medalist in Asia in boxing. I along with Sunny and Bobby also trained with a couple of Australian coaches. It was important because while shooting because we had to get the choreography right so that we didn't injure each other. Also it was necessary to get the proper body language of a boxer. However, it was great working with Sunny and Bobby."
And what about working with Deol senior- the Garam Dharam? A little bird tells us that Aryan's father is a big fan of Dharam paaji and when he came to know that his son Aryan was shooting with his favourite star, he insisted that Aryan puts him on to Dharmendra over the phone. "My father belongs to the generation which was dominated by Dharamji. He wanted to talk to him. Initially I let it pass since it was the first time that I was shooting with him but once I realized that my father was serious about this request, only then I went to Dharamji and requested him to talk to my father. He was thrilled about it."
Naturally Vaid senior was ecstatic and he has yet not stopped talking about the time when he could speak to his matinee idol. As for Aryan, he was given a big smile, a bear hug and big treat by his father for this feat.
