Says Kangna, "I'm dancing to a re-mix of songs from my films Gangster, Woh Lamhe and Metro. Except that these are male numbers. I've got them re-recorded into a female voice and will be dancing to them."
Isn't she embarrassed to be dancing to songs originally filmed on Emraan Hashmi and Shiney Ahuja?
"Not at all!" asserts Kangna. "Numbers like 'Kya yeh pyar hai' might not be filmed on me. But they express my emotions as much as anybody else's in these films. And who remembers whom 'Kaanta laga' was originally picturized on?"
She has never been to New York. She's looking forward to seeing the city. "I love the feel of strange cities. I can roam for hours on my own."
Bipasha Basu on the other hand is no stranger to New York. But dancing has come naturally to her in recent times.
"It was 'Beedi jalay le' and 'Namak isaq ka' in Omkara which made me realize how much I enjoy filmy dances. Of course I'll be dancing to my hit numbers. But they want me to dance to hit songs of the year from films that I didn't feature in. I don't mind. Nowadays I just love the outflow of energy when I go on stage."
Urmila Matondkar who's the most seasoned performer of the trio is also not relaxed. She's the only one of the glam-trio who'll dance to her own songs. "I'll be dancing to a medley of my own songs including Bas Ek Pal."
