Bombay To Bangkok is same but different

If last few years have been good for comedy films with especially 2007 being a witness to at least half a dozen comic hits, 2008 too would be presenting a bouquet of feel good romantic comedies starting with Bombay to Bangkok.

Ready for quite some time and now gearing up for release, the film lives up to it's signature track titled 'Same Same But Different'! Reason being that the film brings together the 'same' team of Iqbal once again i.e. Subhash Ghai as the producer, Nagesh Kukunoor as the director and Shreyas Talpade as the actor.

The 'different' factor here is about the genre of Bombay to Bangkok. While Iqbal had sports as a theme with an underdog as the central protagonist, BOMBAY TO BANGKOK is a feel good comedy with foreign import Lina Christianson as the lady starring opposite Shreyas.

While Shreyas plays Shankar, a thief from Bombay, Lina enacts the role of a girl from Bangkok. The two meet in the city of Bangkok and from there begins a rollicking roller coaster fun ride for them.

Bombay to Bangkok is looking at an early January release.
