Deepal Shaw in <i>Wednesday</i>

Anjum Rizvi, who has produced Charas and Ahista Ahista in the past, has announced his new venture Wednesday. Starring Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill and Aamir Bashir, the film is directed by debutante Neeraj Pandey. The latest addition to the cast is Deepal Shaw. She will enact the role of a television journalist in the film.

Wednesday encompasses the incidents that take place on a Wednesday in Mumbai. The story takes place in the afternoon and ends in the evening.

Meanwhile, Deepal is excited at the prospects of sharing the screen space with actors like Naseer and Kher. "It's a dream to work with such powerful actors. Also, I guess, people have realized the kind of work I want to do. I want to go beyond titles like 'good looks' and 'great body'. Wednesday will give me an opportunity to exhibit my talent," Deepal tells me.
