YRF to launch <i>Dhoom 2</i> videogame

Following the success of the ritzy action-thriller Dhoom 2, Yashraj Films has affiliated with FX Labs Studios to develop a videogame. The "AAA" quality Bollywood videogame claims to be the first of its kind in the Indian market.

Currently titled Dhoom 2, the game is in the making and will touch completion by end of 2007. FX Labs Studios has signed an exclusive agreement with Yashraj Film Studios to develop it. The game is clearly aimed at the Dhoom 2 fans, who will instantly relate to the game as it is a direct extension of brand Dhoom 2 on the virtual screen. The game will feature 3-D characters similar to those in Sanjay Gadhvi's Dhoom 2, including Mr. A(Aryan), Jai, Sunehri, Ali and Shonali. It will have all the action and excitement that has been portrayed in the film. Mr. Sanjeev Kohli, CEO, Yashraj Films said that the game will surely gain acceptance since the film has been a huge hit with the young audiences.

Supposedly, this PC game will set the standards for all Indian-Cinema based games in the future. As India catches up with North America and Europe to see a huge market potential in the movie-based gaming space., Dhoom 2 is surely one game to watch out for!
