After
directing
films
like
Dil
Chahta
Hai,
Lakshya
and
Don
it
seems
director
Farhan
Akthar
is
seriously
concentrating
on
his
acting
career.
He
has
made
his
debut
in
the
Anand
Surapur's
movie
The
Fakir
of
Venice
which
is
to
be
released
by
the
end
of
the
year.
In
the
movie
he
plays
a
young
production
controller
who
takes
a
fakir
to
Venice,
the
role
of
fakir
is
played
by
the
veteran
actor
Anu
Kapoor.
Now
the
actor
will
be
seen
playing
lead
in
his
sister
Zoya
Akthar's
directorial
debut
Luck
By
Chance
in
which
he
is
also
the
producer.
Zoya
had
announced
the
movie
Luck
By
Chance
two
years
ago
and
than
shelved
it
and
began
working
on
her
second
project
Kismat
Talkies
for
which
she
finalized
Hritik
Roshan
and
Kareena
Kapoor
But
the
project
took
a
halt
after
the
actors
were
busy
with
their
schedule.
This
made
her
go
back
to
her
old
project
for
which
she
had
initially
cast
Saif
Ali
Khan
and
Tabu.
She
has
some
directorial
experience
having
worked
as
an
assistant
to
her
brother.
Luck
By
Chance
is
a
movie
based
on
the
life
in
Bollywood.
The
movie
will
be
in
a
club
of
movies
begin
made
on
the
industry
life
in
the
industry,
others
being
Farah
Khan's
Om
Shanti
Om
and
Sudhir
Mishra's
Khoya
Khoya
Chand.
But
unlike
the
other
two
movie
which
focus
on
the
past
Luck
By
Chance
will
talk
about
contemporary
Bollywood.
Farhan's
enthusiasm
about
acting
can
be
understood
from
the
fact
that
he
halted
his
next
directorial
venture
Voice
From
The
Sky.
Thats
not
all
for
the
young
director,
he
will
be
also
be
seen
acting
in
an
untitled
movie
by
the
actor-turned-director
Abhishek
Kapoor.
Farhan
will
play
lead
role
in
the
film
whose
script
is
similar
to
his
directorial
debut
Dil
Chahta
Hai.
Recently
he
stuck
a
Rs
230
crore
deal
with
TV
18
whereby
they
will
produce
six
of
his
movies.
Farhan
it
seems
has
taken
to
the
three
difficult
parts
of
a
cinema
acting,
directing
and
producing.
With
sister
Zoya
talking
to
direction
and
being
the
son
of
a
great
lyricist
father
Javed
Akthar,
Farhan
might
just
know
how
to
make
a
perfect
family
movie.
