The countdown has begun! Himesh Reshammiya's first film as an actor, Aap Kaa Surroor, is all set to hit the screens in June this year. The film was extensively shot in Germany and while you're reading this news-piece, Himesh has flown to Bangkok to participate in the penultimate 22-day shooting schedule of the film.

The promotion of Aap Kaa Surroor has kick-started and Himesh is extremely pleased by the feedback from his fans. "The reaction is splendid. People have liked the promos immensely. I don't wish to tom-tom about myself since that would look weird, but it gladdens my heart to know that people are liking the promos," Himesh informs me.

There're seven songs in all in Aap Kaa Surroor and Himesh has decided to promote the songs systematically before the film hits the marquee. The remix version of the songs as also the talkie promos will dominate the tube as the release date draws closer.

If that's not enough, Himesh and Aap Kaa Surroor director Prashant Chaddha have decided to shoot two endings for the film. The 'happy' ending will have Himesh uniting with his love-interest, while the 'sad' will have the lovers drifting apart. "I am not revealing the climax right now. That's for the audience to find out," he smiles.

Aap Kaa Surroor is confirmed for 29th June release. It's no ordinary date since three more films are also slated for release on this Friday -- Apne [Dharmendra, Sunny, Bobby Deol], Cash [Ajay Devgan, Suniel Shetty, Zayed Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh] and Awarapan [Emraan Hashmi]. Tough competition, isn't it?

"The producer [Vijay Taneja] has taken the decision and he's is no mood to back out," Himesh reveals, "Astrologically, 29th June is an promising day to release the film. In fact, we were the first to lock this date for our film. Anyways, there's nothing to worry since two or more films have clicked in the same week. We're confident of our film and that's all that matters."

Aap Kaa Surroor will be complete after the Bangkok schedule. Besides shooting for the film in the capital of Thailand, Himesh will also be dubbing crucial portions of the film in Bangkok.
