When Mallika Sherawat's Murder released and became a bumper success 3 years back, there were number of films with sex 'n' sleaze as the undercurrent theme that were launched in a matter of weeks. The success of films like Hawas, Tauba Tauba and Girlfriend only gave an impetus for such films to mushroom.
The bubble burst in the next few months and movies belonging to this genre started flopping left, right and center. Somewhere around same time Haseena - Smart, Sexy, Dangerous too was ready for release but got stuck due to numerous reasons and was subsequently forgotten.
Now out of the blue, in the Friday gone by, Haseena has seen the light of the day as it saw selective release in minimal prints across a few cities.
Starring Isha Koppikar in the lead along with Raj Babbar, Kiran Janjani, Preeti Jhangiani and Tara Sharma, the film is directed by small time director Vicky Ranawat whose last directorial venture was Faisal Khan starrer Kaboo.
