Jab We Met to be released worldwide next month

An official has confirmed that the next overseas release of Studio 18 - Viacom 18 for the Indian Film Company (IFC) will be the keenly anticipated mega-budget rom-com, Jab We Met (literally meaning, When We Met), featuring real-life (allegedly) love birds and stars, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

Jab We Met is a light breezy saga about young love against a cultural North-Indian backdrop with music by Pritam, whose recent compositions in Awarapan, Dhoom 2 and Kya Love Story Hai, to name a few, have rocked the charts.

Jab We Met marks the return of the romantic duo earlier seen in the box-office hits, Chup Chup Ke and 36 China Town (2005), with Shahid's previous solo smash hit being Vivaah (2006).

Jab We Met will have a wide release worldwide on October 26, with the possibility of advance previews in the UK on October 25. The soundtrack releases worldwide on T-Series on September 20.
