After
attempting
a
hard-hitting
movie
on
the
life
of
a
prostitute
and
a
postman
[Chingaari],
Kalpana
Lajmi
is
planning
to
start
a
film
based
on
a
courtesan
next.
"It's
a
period
film,
set
in
the
16th
century.
I
was
bowled
by
the
interesting
plot," Kalpana
sounds
excited.
What's
the
film
all
about?
"It's
about
spiritual
love
and
carnal
love.
It's
about
the
search
for
real
love," the
director
of
Rudaali,
Darmiyaan,
Daman
and
Kyon?
adds.
Kalpana
has
already
signed
a
few
interesting
names
for
the
film
in
question:
Isha
Koppikar
[as
the
courtesan],
Rahul
Dev
[as
the
prince]
and
Rituparna
Sengupta
[as
the
queen].
"I
am
on
the
lookout
for
a
good
actor
to
play
a
sanyasi,"
she
states.
The
film
isn't
titled
as
yet,
but
Kalpana
is
keen
to
call
the
film
Rang-Raliya.
The
film
is
expected
to
go
on
floors
in
October
this
year.
"I
am
keen
to
sign
a
music
composer
who's
proficient
in
classical
and
folk
music,"
she
adds.
