So what if lyricist Sameer, son of legendary lyricist Anjaan hasnt been able to carve a niche for himself at par with other lyricists like Gulzar and Javed Akhtar; he is all set to achieve something which his compatriots can only dream of. Yes, if everything goes as per the planning, Sameer would get his name registered in coveted 'Limca Book of Records'.
In his career spanning 25 years, Sameer has created an unsurpassed record in the world of Bollywood, having written lyrics for 5,000 songs translating to 502 films. At the age of 48, this is an amazing achievement. And why not, after all, his family has a legacy when it comes to writing.
Sameer, after getting the genes from his father, refused to live under the shadow of the great Anjaan. Thus, creating his own style, adapting and changing and creating changes.
