Madhur
Bhandarkar
is
one
of
those
few
directors
who
have
looked
to
deal
with
sensitive
subjects.
Right
from
Chandni
Bar
to
Satta
to
Page

and
Traffic
Signal
all
his
films
have
dealt
with
issues,
which
have
prevailed
in
the
society
but
have
always
been
ignored
not
only
by
the
commoners,
but
by
other
directors
too.
Madhur
started
his
career
assisting
Ram
Gopal
Verma
and
made
his
directorial
debut
with
Trishakti
in
1999,
which
unfortunately
did
not
work
well
at
the
box
office.
But
then
came
Chandi
Bar
starring
Tabu
and
Atul
Kulkarni
and
the
film
won
him
a
national
award.
After
that
there
was
no
stopping
Madhur.
Satta
(Raveena
Tandon),
Aan,

Corporate
and
then
Traffic
Signal
followed
one
after
another.
Madhur
won
the
second
national
award
for
Page

and
all
the
movies
he
made
had
exposed
the
faults
in
the
system.
Madhur
is
currently
working
on
his
film
Fashion
and
is
toying
on
the
idea
of
making
a
film
on
film
awards.
This
film
will
deal
with
what
happens
behind
every
award
ceremony
and
how
awards
are
manipulated.
Yet
another
bold
film
Madhur,
but
will
you
deal
with
the
National
Awards
too?
