Mani Shankar chooses newcomer Akhil

Mani Shankar, who directed critically acclaimed films like 16th Dec, Rudrakash and Tango Charlie in the Hindi film industry, has roped in one of the most promising actors Akhil Rajendra as the main protagonist for his yet to be titled film. It is debut film for Akhil Rajendra who is very passionate about acting and films with professional qualifications in management and acting.

The film will be produced under the banner of Bollywood PR Productions which is a sister concern of one of the leading in film advertising company 'Vision Enterprises'

According to Mr. Mani Shankar, this film has a fantastic&all new script and this subject shall be 1st time in Indian&international cinema. Detailed work is being done on the script to give it a final touch and very soon.

We shall be confirming a star actress opposite Akhil for the same film soon with very good supporting caste in the film&music, the shootings shall be on the floor from the 1st week of October this year onwards in Mumbai&various other locations of India&London. Film is scheduled to be released in the 1st week of Feb '08.

Mani Shankar who has always worked with established artists like Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Suniel Shetty, Bobby Deol and Bipasha Basu has first time chosen to work with a new comer - Akhil Rajendra. Other cast and credits are under finalization.
