Mani Ratnam's Secret
Tuesday,
February

Director
Mani
Ratnam,
when
asked
about
the
secrets
to
his
kind
of
filmmaking,
said,
'Whenever
I
make
a
film
I
will
keep
in
mind
only
two
points.
One
is
that
the
film
should
give
me
satisfaction
as
a
director.
At
the
same
time,
I
will
step
into
the
shoes
of
the
audiences
and
watch
the
film
as
an
average
audience
member
and
feel
satisfied
that
the
film
is
good.
The
first
one
I
understand
when
I
am
making
the
film
itself&the
other
one
would
depend
on
the
judgment
given
by
the
audiences.
After
looking
for
these
two
factors,
I
will
concentrate
on
other
issues.
Presently
I
am
thinking
about
my
forthcoming
project
Lajjo
in
which
Amir
Khan
and
Kareena
Kapoor
are
pairing
up
together
for
the
first
time.
