Manoj Kumar, who earned the nick name Bharat Kumar due to a line of patriotic films in his times, is all set to make a comeback into the industry.

His last movie as a director was Jai Hindi in the year 1999 with his son Kunal Goswami. His son could not revive the magic that his father has created in Hindi cinema and the film was a major flop. After that Manoj got busy re-developing the plot of land where his bungalow stood. Now that he is done with that job, Manoj is free to concentrate on his creative side.

Manoj will soon start with three films. One will be directed by Manoj himself, another by his son Kunal and the other by an outsider who has still not been identified.

For the new generation who doesn't remember which actor we are talking about, he is the same guy who made movies like Upkar and Kranti. Manoj Kumar started his career with small roles in little known films like Panchayat and Fashion. His first beak through came in the year 1960 with the film Honeymoon, where he starred opposite Sayeeda Khan.

Then there was no looking back for him. Manoj's image as the patriotic hero started with the 1965 film Shaheed, which was based on the life of Bhagat Singh. His directorial career started with the film Upkar in 1967, which also won him the Filmfare Best Director Award. In 1972, he starred in Be-Imaan for which he won the Filmfare Best Actor Award.

Manoj won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998 after which his career came to a halt. But the tiger is ready to road all over again. What say KJos and Adi Chopras - ready for the competition!
