We've heard of sequels. There have been remakes too. Now get ready for a prequel. Masti writer Tushar Hiranandani is making his directorial debut with a prequel -- the prequel to Masti, to be precise. "It's about bachelorhood, the days before marriage. However, the prequel will be much more romantic than Masti. Of course, it'll be funny, but it's more about love, romance and marriage," Tushar divulges.
Jay Shevakramani, brother-in-law of Tips' Ramesh Taurani, will produce the film, while Tips will be the presenters. Tushar and Jay haven't finalized the star cast yet. "The script demands three guys and five girls. I've spoken to the male actors, but since we haven't signed on the dotted line yet, it would be unfair to announce their names. As for the girls, we might go in for new faces," Tushar adds.
Tushar is scripting the film currently and hopes to start filming in November this year!
The film has story and screenplay by Tushar Hiranandani and Umesh Gadge, dialogues by Milap Zaveri and music by Pritam.
