Resounding
success
of
Mayawati
in
recently
concluded
UP
assembly
elections
has
not
only
made
the
power
brokers
turn
their
heads
towards
the
dalit
queen,
it
has
also
inspired
our
film
makers.
So
much
so
that
now
a
film
has
been
planned
on
the
life
of
UP
chief
minister.
Directed
by
Kailash
Masoom,
an
ad
film
director,
the
film
is
named
'Bahenji
-
The
great
sister'
and
will
show
Pratima
Kazmi
playing
the
protagonist.
Since
the
subject
is
controversial,
the
director
has
made
sure
that
he
has
a
word
with
the
dalit
leader
before
even
working
on
the
project.
And
the
good
news
for
the
first
time
director
is
that
Ms
Mayawati
has
given
her
go
ahead
for
the
movie.
To
be
made
in
a
budget
of
Rs
3
crores,
the
film
will
be
shot
entirely
in
UP
with
some
parts
in
Mumbai
and
Delhi.
Though
the
film
has
no
star
attractions,
our
very
own
Jaggu
Dada
has
agreed
to
play
Raja
Bhaiya
in
the
movie,
thus
adding
some
star
value
to
the
movie.
