Producer Sanjeev Kumar Medh and Harish J Gupta are all set to bring the shocking story of the Nithari killings to the silver screen. Screenwriter Yogi has apparently teamed up with them to write the script.

Raza Murad has been roped in to play the role of Maninder Singh Pandher. Murad is very excited about the role, especially because he has been following the case from day one. Of course, he never imagined that he would be asked to play the role of the man that the nation hates. Murad wants to create awareness of a parent's role towards his child's security.

Other actors include Gopal Singh, of Traffic Signal fame, who portrays the character of main accused Surinder; and newcomer Aleka, who plays the role of Payal, call girl and victim. Ali Khan will portray Inspector Rana.

The film will be on floor soon, and is slated for release early next year.
