What
Ram
Gopal
Varma
couldn't
do,
Pritish
Nandy
has
managed
to
do.
His
company
Pritish
Nandy
Communications
has
obtained
the
rights
to
remake
Ramesh
Sippy's
Sholay.
"Yes,
we've
signed
a
deal
for
the
official
remake.
But
we
aren't
doing
a
feature.
It'll
be
animation
versions
of
Sholay.
We
are
doing
a
prequel
and
sequel
to
Sholay
in
animation
format," informs
Pritish
Nandy
whose
production
company
is
all
set
to
make
sequels
of
two
of
their
earlier
films
Sujoy
Ghosh's
Jhankaar
Beatsand
Saket
Chowdhary's
Pyaar
Ke
Side
Effects.
Adds
the
entertainment
baron,
"It's
a
rather
substantial
deal.
We'll
be
fine-tuning
the
details
in
the
coming
weeks
and
initiating
work
on
the
concepts
and
screenplays.
After
that
we'll
cast
for
the
voices
and
then
look
for
the
director
and
crew.
That's
how
we
work
at
PNC."
