Rakeysh
Mehra
has
been
hunting
for
the
right
actor
to
play
the
lead
in
his
upcoming
project
Delhi
6.
First,
he
approached
Abhishek
Bachchan,
then
Hrithik
Roshan.
Since
both
of
them
refused
to
take
up
the
part,
owing
to
their
busy
schedule,
Mehra
turned
to
Akshay
Kumar.
Akshay, who was shooting in Sydney then, refused to take up the part. However, a source said that Akshay had not even been approached for that part, as the script demanded someone much younger than him. And finally, rumours of Rakeysh Mehra approaching Hrithik once again are taking the rounds! Reportedly, Hrithik has agreed to do the film. But that is provided Rakeysh incorporates the changes he has suggested.
As sources have it, Mehra met Hrithik again last week to discuss the script once again. There were certain segments in the script Hrithik wasn't happy with. So Mehra was obliged to make those changes, after which Hrithik finally gave him the green signal.
Hrithik, who already has two movies this year- Kismat Talkies and Jodhaa Akbar, has yet another project in his kitty now. Delhi 6 is speculated to go on floors by the end of this year.
