Sambar Salsa from Rishi Kapoor

Crossover films have started making appearance once again. Barely has the promotion begun for Lions of Punjab Presents and now yet another crossover film, Sambar Salsa, is eyeing a release soon.

Surprise of the surprise is the fact that the film's cast is headed by none other than Rishi Kapoor who has built his 35 years old career by working in out and out commercial films.

Directed by his cousin brother Aditya Raj Kapoor, who has another crossover film Don't Stop Dreaming to his credit (again starring Rishi Kapoor along with Suniel Shetty), Sambar Salsa has already seen an overseas release and would be hitting the Indian shores now.

Also starring singer/actor Taz in a principal role, Sambar Salsa is a tale with ingredients of humour, romance, emotion and drama. The comedy tells the story of a Spanish girl, an Indian boy and disapproving parents, some who need little convincing and others who need a whole lot more.
