People
just
can't
stop
talking
about
hot
director
Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali's
new
offering
Saawariya.
Speculations
are
rife
that
it
may
not
be
able
to
release
as
scheduled
on
9th
November
during
Diwali
season.
The
news
is
doing
the
rounds
that
the
director
is
not
in
the
mood
to
wrap
it
up
in
haste
just
for
the
sake
of
meeting
deadline.
But
the
truth
is
that
its
makers
are
hell-bent
on
releasing
it
on
the
scheduled
date.
Sony Pictures, which is producing this film has confirmed that it would make it to the theatres on time.
Uday Singh, who heads Sony Pictures in India has rubbished off the rumours of the film's postponement. "It's completely untrue. Saawariya is definitely arriving on 9th November. We've locked the date. There's no shifting forward.," said Uday Singh. The film will also be dubbed into many foreign languages. "See, it all depends on the Country Manager. It's not right for me to comment on it. It's their (Country Manager) decision entirely," said Uday.
However, he sounded philosophical when it came to the number of prints it would have. "Like water finds its own level, similarly the content finds its own level. We'll decide on the prints at the time of release. It's too early to talk about it. What's confirmed, however, is 9th November," he said.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali introduces two star children - actor Rishi Kapoor's son Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam Kapoor through this films. It is a romantic flick about innocent love. Actress Rani Mukherjee plays a vital role and Salman Khan also makes a special appearance. Monty Singh is the music director and Ganesh Hegde is the choreographer.
