Last
week,
B-Town
was
abuzz
with
talk
that
Salman
Khan
and
Partner
director
David
Dhawan
had
a
huge
fight.
Says
a
source,
"It
had
something
to
do
with
the
editing
of
Partner.
Salman
wanted
some
scenes
edited
in
a
particular
way
while
David,
who
edits
all
his
films,
said
he
knew
his
job.
Khan
also
wanted
some
scene
nixed
but
David
refused,
and
this
led
to
a
heated
exchange
of
words.
However,
David
and
Salman
are
very
fond
of
each
other.
A
few
days
later,
David
called
Salman
and
they
sorted
out
the
issue."
'He's
a
great
guy'
David
laughs
off
the
rumours.
He
says,
"I'm
having
coffee
with
Salman
right
now
at
Barista.
Do
you
think
I
would
be
sitting
around
with
him
if
we
had
a
fight?
Also,
would
I
be
doing
the
sequel
to
Partner
if
that
were
true?"
The
latest
on
Partner
is
that
it
has
run
into
legal
problems,
with
Sony
threatening
to
sue
the
Indian
producers
for
$30
million
for
rehashing
Hitch.
Says
David,
"It's
rubbish.
How
many
producers
can
they
sue?
Five
hundred
films
are
made
here
that
are
inspired
by
Hollywood
films."
