Bollywood
actor
turned
politician
Shatrughan
Sinha
was
in
Chennai
recently.
He
was
in
town
to
present
the
Kollapudi
Srinivas
Memorial
National
Award
for
the
film
Vanaja
for
2007.
He
presented
the
award
to
the
films
director
Rajneesh
Domalapalli.
The
film
is
the
director's
directorial
debut.
When
in
the
city
he
said
about
the
city,
"I
always
like
to
visit
Chennai.
In
the
city
you
see
a
lot
of
rich
culture
and
peace
around.
These
are
things
that
I
desire
as
an
artiste.
There
are
other
reasons
for
my
love
for
the
city.
It
has
contributed
through
acting
legends
like
MGR,
Shivaji
Ganeshan
and
my
dear
friend
Rajinikanth.
I
can
say
with
confidence
that
this
state
contains
most
of
the
film
talent
including
directors,
artists
and
script
writers."
He
said
some
of
the
dialogues
that
he
is
famous
for
which
the
crowd
responded
with
a
lot
of
cheering
to.
The
MP
actor
was
accompanied
by
filmmaker

Palekar,
actress
Neena
Gupta,
trutee
of
the
foundation

gave
a
flute
recital
at
the
event.
