Shilpa Shetty wins celebrity Big Brother

After facing huge racism problems on the show, Bollywood ravishing beauty Shilpa Shetty has won the show. She has been awarded the title of this year's 'Celebrity Big Brother'. The 31 years old Bollywood actress burst into tears when she heard that the public had voted her to victory. Chipping in her views on the show, Shetty expressed that the experience on the channel 4's 'Celebrity Big Brother' had been great and overwhelming.

Shilpa Shetty thanked the public for making her country proud.

When asked about Jade Goody's behaviour, Shetty uttered, "People make mistakes and we are all human beings. We're all imperfect. Jade is a bit aggressive. She may be hot-tempered... but she's not a racist", added Shetty.

Danielle Lloyd - Shetty's housemate on the show, who bagged 63 per cent of the public vote, has already apologised to Shilpa for her remarks.

Lloyd and Jack Tweed, Shilpa's fellow housemates, were evicted in the first round of evictions on the finale held on Sunday, 28th Jan. They both looked upset when the footage of their behavior towards Bollywood queen was shown on the show.

Singer Ian 'H' Watkins was the third eviction on the finale followed by former A Team star Dirk Benedict. Jermaine Jackson, brother of pop star Michael, was named the runner up of the Celebrity Big Brother.

Goody and O'Meara did not appear on the Grand Finale but all the other evicted housemates made their entry on the final show. Goody admitted her nasty behaviour towards Shilpa.

Above 40,000 complaints about the racism were received by the Media Watchdog Ofcom.

Shilpa Shetty made India 'Proud' in the world and deserves a huge welcome in the country.
