Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta's latest offering Shootout At Lokhandwala has become the cynosure of all eyes with one news after another hitting the headlines. First, it was said that actor Viveik Oberoi was not comfortable with one of the songs of the film which contains his ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai's name in the lyrics. However, this piece of news has done wonders to the film. Now, it's audio album has become hot like never before.
Sanjay Gupta is known for his good musical taste besides filmmaking. All his films have great music, be it Kaante, Musafir or Zinda. Yet again, the music of his latest production venture Shootout At Lokhandwala has done the trick. Reliable sources revealed that distributor G D Mehta is impressed by its audio and slick promos so much so that he has bought its Delhi and U.P rights for a whooping price, which is believed to be more than Rs.3 crore.
The audio album of the film has soundtracks composed by Pakistani leading band Strings, Indian leading bands Indian Ocean and Euphoria, songwriter Biddu Appaiah and playback singers Shibani Kashyap and Mika Mehndi. It also boasts of a huge star cast with actors like Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Viveik Oberoi, Tusshar Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Suniel Shetty, Arbaaz Khan, Diya Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Rakhi Sawant and Aarti Chhabria playing various important roles. Sanjay Gupta produces it jointly with Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and Apoorva Lakhia is directing it.
