In
an
industry
and
in
a
business
where
relationships
are
made
and
unmade
every
Friday,
Saif
Ali
Khan
and
director
Siddharth
Anand
are
a
class
apart.
The
two
have
bonded
together
over
two
successful
films
Salaam
Namaste
and
Tara
Rum
Pum
and
became
seemingly
inseparable
not
just
as
a
star-director
team,
but
also
on
a
personal
level.
But
now
Siddharth
Anand
is
working
with
another
actor
Ranbir
Kapoor
in
his
next
film.
So
what
happens
to
their
tacit
mutual
agreement
to
never
work
separately?
In
fact,
Saif
had
jokingly
said
he'd
"kill" the
young
filmmaker
if
he
made
a
film
without
Saif.
Sighs
Saif,
"I
know
Sid
is
doing
a
film
with
another
actor.
And
I'm
already
missing
him.
But
the
consolation
is
that
we're
both
working
for
Aditya
Chopra
and
Yashraj
Films.
I'm
about
to
start
shooting
for
YashRaj's
Tashan
with
Akshay
Kumar
and
Kareena
Kapoor
while
Sid
will
start
his
film
soon.
So
it's
like
both
of
us
being
part
of
the
same
family.
So
maybe
I
won't
miss
him
that
much."
Having
said
brave
things
about
the
parting
of
ways
with
the
only
director
with
whom
Saif
claims
to
share
an
indelible
bond,
the
actor
sighs,
"Look
I'll
will
miss
him.
Maybe
we'll
be
back
together
with
his
next
project.
Our
last
project
Tara
Rum
Pum
really
worked
for
us,
no
matter
what
some
trade
pundits
say.
It
has
grossed
almost
Rs
80
crores.
So
it's
a
hit,
right?
Who
would
want
to
break
up
a
hit
jodi?...."
...Except
Siddharth
Anand's
childhood
friend?
In
fact
Anand
is
so
close
to
Ranbir
Kapoor
that
he
has
named
his
son
after
Rishi
Kapoor's
son.
Adds
Siddharth
Anand,
"I
guess
I'll
be
missing
Saif
more
than
he'll
be
missing
me.
I've
made
only
two
films
and
both
starred
Saif.
For
the
last
four
years
Saif
has
been
a
part
of
my
professional
as
well
as
personal
life.
He's
more
a
habit
for
me
than
a
friend.
Dammit,
I'm
already
missing
him."
