Speed speed up promotion

Thank goodness for the fact that Speed, which was originally looking at a hush-hush release on 28th September, has been postponed all the way to 19th October. It features actress Urmila Matondkar, Aftab Shivdasani, Zayed Khan, Sanjay Suri, Tanushree Dutta, Aashish Chaudhary, Amrita Arora and Sophie Chaudhary in the lead roles.

There is some seriousness currently in display towards the promotion of the film, something which seemed to be pretty much absent when the film's earlier release date was announced.

While promotion has taken a right route over the satellite medium, the latest theatrical promo has also come for overall appreciation. If the theatrical promo is any indication, Speed looks all set to be a high adrenaline dramatic thriller which doesn't provide a breather for a viewer to relax.

There is an obvious CELLULAR inspiration here, though with a political angle woven in, but Vikram Bhatt has used to his advantage and presented Speed as a slick thriller which promises to be an edge of the seat entertainer.
