Speed going smooth at last

A few months back, Sanjay Suri had made a popular quote "Speed ko Speed-breaker lag gaya hai"!

Obviously he was commenting on the continuous postponing and delay in the release of this Vikram Bhatt film which has been in the making for close to two years now.

Come 28th September and the film would finally see a theatrical release on 28th September. A thriller based on the Hollywood hit Cellular, Speed is a mutlistarrer with Urmila Matondkar, Aftab Shivdasani, Zayed Khan, Sanjay Suri, Tanushree Dutta, Aashish Chaudhary, Amrita Arora and Sophie Chaudhary enacting principal characters.

The film came close to a release at least a couple of times in the last six months but the release date kept getting postponed. Finally with the arrival of fresh promos (which are looking quite slick), the release date of Speed has finally been announced.

Produced by Harry Baweja, one hopes that the film eventually does make it to the marquee without any further hiccups.
