Mumbai,
(UNI)
Bollywood
filmmaker
Subhash
Ghai
who
has
sold
the
rights
of
his
1980
musical
blockbuster
Karz
to
T-Series
for
a
remake
says
that
imitations
too
need
skill
and
talent.
Speaking
to
UNI
on
whether
he
feels
that
Karz,
a
timeless
musical
blockbuster
needs
to
be
remade,
Mr
Ghai
said,
''I
made
Karz
in
1980.
Every
film
of
mine
is
a
forgotten
past
for
me
once
I
release
the
film.
I
have
never
repeated
my
stories
or
my
films
and
will
never
do
the
same.
Nor
have
I
made
or
will
remake
any
film
in
my
life
because
if
any
writer/director
lives
with
his
past
glory,
that
means
he
has
declared
his
retirement.
And
with
God's
grace
I
have
so
many
new
concepts
and
new
stories
to
explore
in
my
mind
and
to
pick
out
the
best
ones
which
are
new,
exciting
and
timely.''
