Sushmita
Sen
has
been
very
unwell
for
the
past
month,
but
is
well
on
her
way
to
a
speedy
recovery.
Says
a
source
close
to
her,
"Sush
hasn't
been
keeping
well
and
has
been
on
a
saline
drip.
She
was
in
a
bad
state.
Though
she
was
extremely
upset
about
not
being
able
to
keep
her
professional
commitments,
there
was
no
other
alternative."
Says
Krishna
Banerji,
Sushmita's
business
manager,
"I
can't
comment
on
what
happened.
She's
not
been
hospitalised
or
put
on
drips
but
yes,
she's
been
very
unwell.
Currently,
she's
recovering." Was
it
a
viral
fever?
"It
can
be
termed
various
things.
Doctors
can
say
it
was
viral
fever
and
others
can
put
it
down
to
stress
and
over-exhaustion."
Viveck
Vaswani,
the
producer
of
the
Shah
Rukh-Sushmita
starrer
Dulha
Milha
Gaya,
confirms
Sushmita's
illness.
He
says,
"I've
heard
Sush
has
been
very
ill.
She
fell
sick
after
returning
from
our
schedule
in
Trinidad&Tobago.
She
is
a
very
committed
professional,
works
hard
and
leads
a
strenuous
life
style
full
of
endorsements,
shootings,
pre-production
of
her
home
production
Jhansi
Ki
Rani
and
events.
Coupled
with
work
commitments,
the
lifestyle
of
a
star
can
be
tremendously
draining."
Before
her
illness,
Sushmita
was
neck-deep
in
the
pre-production
work
for
her
ambitious
English
film,
Jhansi
Ki
Rani,
that
she
is
both
producing
and
acting
in.
